Best direct sown in fall as a cover crop to fix soil nitrogen issues.  Temps need to be above 50 degrees for gemination to occur.   Clean and till garden beds and sow on the surface,  lightly dust with screened peat or compost.  Alternatively you can mix your pack of seeds with 8 cups of screened peat and lightly spread on your prepared garden bed.

5000 seeds will cover approximately 200 square feet of garden bed.  Till into your garden bed once the clover flowers, but before it forms seeds.  Depending on how harsh your winter is crimson clover sown in late fall will flower, and be ready to till, 30-50 days before your last frost date in spring.
