Up for sale is one pack of 50 Bee Blossom flower seeds (Gaura lindheimeri). Also known as whirling butterflies this perennial creates a shrub type bush with tall stalky white flowers with a pink tinge.

Bee Blossom is very drought tolerant and is considered a tender perennial for zones 5-7 and perennial for 8-9. For colder zones 5-7 they will need to be cut back to the ground after your first hard freeze in fall and then mulched over winter to protect them.
To germinate them we recommend you soak your seeds for 4 hours and then either start them in pots or direct sow in spring. If starting in pots press the seed onto the surface of your potting mix and do not cover as they need exposure to light. Keep slightly moist during the germination process.
If direct sowing put them out any time from early to late spring. Sow on the surface and lightly cover with peat to protect them from birds.
Being perennials if you start them in spring they will flower the following year.
