Work enriched garden soil 6" and gently compact. Scatter you seeds on the surface and lightly cover with peat or compost as they need darkness to germinate. Gaillardia generally germinate within 30 days but sometimes can take longer as they wait for the right soil temperature. Once germinated thin to 15" spacing.
