Best started about two months before your last frost in pots. Place seed on surface of soil and lightly cover with sand or vermiculite. Once to a height of 2", and after your last freeze, transplant to your garden. You can also direct seed these two weeks before your last frost. As above you want to lightly cover them a light dusting of peat or vermiculite in your garden bed.
Blue Bells are a bit heat sensitive and here in zone 7 we plant them where they can get some afternoon shade.
